LONDON (CMC)
Jamaican international Marlon King continued his goal spree in the English
Championship when he scored his second goal in four days to help
Watford earn a 2-2 draw with Leicester City on Tuesday.
Playing away in the East Midlands, King sent the visitors ahead in the 11th
minute with a clinical finish but Joey Gudjonsson scored twice in seven
minutes before the interval to give Leicester a 2-1 lead.
Clarke Carlisle was sent off early in the second half reducing Watford to
10 men but they managed to salvage a draw five minutes before the final
whistle when Malky Mackay equalised. On Saturday, King was on target in
Watford's 2-1 defeat of Sheffield Wednesday.
Watford have won four of their last five and Tuesday's draw broke a
sequence of four consecutive wins for the club |
