Ricardo Fuller revealed a chat with Danny Higginbotham had persuaded him to leave Southampton and join Stoke.

The 26-year-old striker moved to the Potters in an estimated £500,000
deal, following in the footsteps of defender Higginbotham, who made the
same switch during the summer.

Fuller told Stoke's website: "When my agent told me about Danny
Higginbotham and Vincent Pericard being here, I said I'd definitely choose
Stoke.

"Danny said it was a big club even before he left Southampton. It looks a
great stadium and the pitch looks good."
