Gardner eyes Europe again
Ricardo Gardner believes Bolton have enough about them to secure a
place in the top five of the Premiership - and with it European football.
The Trotters are facing a crucial week which could shape their season.
They face West Ham twice in the space of four days, in the league at
home on Saturday and in an FA Cup replay at Upton Park on Wednesday.
After being knocked out of the UEFA Cup by Marseille, it is Bolton's last
chance of some silverware.
Jamaica full-back Gardner said: "We want to get back into Europe and we
will continue working hard until the end of the season.
"We've got to take the positives from the Marseille match.
"Our aim is to finish in the top five, but we have to take advantage of our
games in hand."
Gardner, 27, has been one of Bolton's best players this season with a
string of impressive displays at left-back.
"It's a great credit to the lads, because they have helped me a lot - as
have the coaching staff," he said. |
